More than mere physical presence is sometimes required. It must be in conformity with law. Kaplan v. Tod, 45 S.Ct. 257, 267 U.S. 228, 69 L.Ed. 585; U. S. v. Tod, D.C., 292 F. 243, 245. To delay, to pause or linger, to abide as a permanent residence or for a time; to live in a place, to have one's residence or domicile, to reside.
