Definition of Fugitive Felon Act

A federal statute which makes it a felony to flee across the state line for the purpose of avoiding prosecution or confinement for a state felony or attempted felony, or to avoid giving testimony in a state felony case. 18 U.S.C.A. § 1073. See Extradition.
