Definition of Finder’s fee

Amount charged for bringing together parties to business opportunity (e.g:, lender and borrower) or bringing issuer and underwriter together, or for performing other types of services described under "finder” supra. A finder’s fee for a securities issue may be stock or a combination of cash and stock.
