Final submission

Definition of Final submission

Exists when nothing remains to be done in proceedings to render submission of case complete. Where the whole case, both requested instructions and evidence, is submitted to the court for its ruling and the court takes the case under advisement, there is a "final submission” of the entire case. Piatt v. Helm & Overly Realty Co., 342 Mo. 772, 117 S.W.2d 327, 329.
