Definition of Excepting
As used in a deed, the terms “reserving” and "excepting” are used interchangeably, and their technical meaning will give way to the manifest in tent. Porter v. Wamer-Caldwell Oil Co., 183 Okl. 1, 80 P.2d 252, 253. The words “reserving” and "excepting,” although strictly distinguishable, may be used interchangeably or indiscriminately. Stephens v.
