Definition of Engrossment

To copy in final draft. Drafting of resolution or bill just prior to final vote upon same in legislature. Buying up or securing enough of a commodity to obtain a monopoly, so as to resell at higher price; i.e. to comer market in such commodity. Preparing deed for execution.
