Definition of DOLIANCE

A peculiar appeal in the Channel Islands. It is a personal charge against a judicial officer, either of misconduct or of negligence. L. R. 6 P. C. 155. It still exists in a modified form. L. R. 5 A. C. 348. See 48 L. Jour. 281.
