Definition of DEBASING
This word, in a statute making it slander to charge another with being guilty of some "debasing act which may exclude him from society," has reference to those repulsive acts which would cause him to be shunned or avoided, in the same way as would a contagious disease. Morris v. Evans, 22 Ga.App. 11, 95 S.E. 385, 386.
