What is COMPRIVIGNI? Definition of COMPRIVIGNI in Black's Law Dictionary - Legal dictionary - Glossary of legal terms.

In the civil law. Children by a former  marriage, (individually called  "privigni," or "privignce") considered  relatively  to each other.

Thus, the son of a husband by a former  wife, and the daughter of a wife by a former husband, are the comprivigni of each other. Inst. 1, 10,  8.
