BOARD OF TRADE

An organization for the advancement and protection of business interests. Retailers Credit Ass'n of Alameda County v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue, C.C.A.9, 90 F.2d 47, 51, 111 A.L.R. 152. An organization of merchants, manufacturers, etc., of a city, for furthering its commercial interests, advancing its prosperity, etc. In England, an administrative department of government, for the consideration of matters relating to trade and foreign plantations.
