Capable of being estimated, weighed, judged of, or recognized by the mind; capable of being perceived or recognized by the senses; perceptible but not a synonym of substantial. Fisher v. As used in a decree enjoining operation of a cotton oil mill in such manner as to throw out lint in "appreciable" quantities, "appreciable" may be practically synonymous with unreasonable. Buckeye Cotton Oil Co. v. Ragland, C. C.A.Miss., 11 F.2d 231, 234.
