An old English writ issuing to the bishop to establish the right of the Crown to make a presentation to a benefice. A writ of execution upon a right of presentation to a benefice being recovered in quare impedit, ad- dressed to the bishop or his metropolitan, requir- ing him to admit and institute the clerk or pre- sentee of the plaintiff. Reg.Orig. 33a.
