Definition of Formula instruction
A jury instruction intended to be complete statement of law upon which jury may base verdict. Harvey v. Aceves, 115 Cal.App. 333, 1 P.2d 1043, 1045. An instruction which advises the jury that under certain facts therein hypothesized their verdict should be for one of the parties. McFatridge v.
