Definition of Emotional Insanity

The species of mental aberration produced by a violent excitement of the emotions or passions, though the reasoning facilities may remain unimpaired. A passion, effecting for a space of time complete derangement of accused's inteUect, or an impulse, which his mind is not able to resist, to do the act. Fannon v.
