What is APPOINTEE? Definition of APPOINTEE in Black's Law Dictionary

A person who is appointed or selected for a particular purpose; as the appointee under a power is the person who is to receive the benefit of the power.

"Appointed" and "elected" are used interchangeably. Van Cleve v. Wallace, 216 Minn. 500, 13 N.W.2d 467, 469.
