Preceding all others; foremost; used as an ordinal of one, as earliest in time or succession or foremost in position; in front of or in advance of all others. Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Co. v. U. S., C.C.A.Del., 130 F.2d 913, 915. Initial; senior; leading; chief; entitled to priority or preference above others.
