Definition of Fraudulent Pretense
Crime which consists of a false pretense, obtaining property of value thereby, and an intent to cheat and defraud. Com. v. Evans, 190 Pa.Super. 179, 154 A.2d 57, 81. E.g., credit purchases made without requisite intent or ability to pay.
